What did you do to prevent that? ....I tried to recreate a shot that I did in new york in 2002...I got some beatiful footage filming on the brooklyn bridge at sunset aiming at t...

I really can recommend AVP in germany rank-cintel mkIII they have an amateur rate (not looking amateur though:) ) for reversal which is about Euro 2,40 plus tax (dont know the exact rate right now) per minute film running time, so at 24fps you turn out with 6euro plus tax!!! you can even send in you...

flexible filters?
the new ekta64t needs a 85b filter instead of the built in 85.. I am wondering if i can get a usable quality flexible 85b filter (like lee filters that are used i theatres) I would like to cut that down to a thumbnail size and place it between the camera body and the removable lens of my leicina spe...

I am quite happy with what I see in this comparison.. right now I am finishing a music video that incorporates k40, tri-x and the ekta vnf7240..most of the times the k40 is way too clean for me...so I am definetely looking forward to some increased grain with the 64t.... lookin at the scans posted I...

my suggestions.. please shoot everything (whole cartridges) from a tripod that should be the best method to check out if jitter appears mostly on beginning or end of cartridge... ......I do not see the use of shooting stuff for this evaluation without a tripod, besides saving some time for setup and...

yes jitter is always there to some amount and its logical that the same amount of jitter will be more noticable in super8 than in 35mm. though I am quite sure that a ds8 camera provides more stable pictures than a cartridge based super8 cam due to pressure plate etc..... I do not own a ds8 camera, b...

ahhh, this is so easy..... ROLEX somebody said: omega speedmaster because they've used 'em in space, and space is cool.... well space is cool I have to admit, but to be used in space the omega had to have plastic instead of saphire glass as glass..... that plasttic glass catches a lot of scratches!!...

>for 50 % of all European users are 60 years and older. i don´t think this is good argument, because in ten years they´ll be dead anyway!! the strongest benefit of k40 in my eyes is that it made it easy for BEGINNERSs to make the first steps in super8. (availability: (a lot of photostores carr...
