Someone selling Canon Scope lens for Regular 8mm on Ebay
Hi Guys,
Someone is selling a canon scope lens used with the Canon Eight regular 8mm. Would be so cool to shoot some true widescreen 8mm with this. A little too pricey for me though. ;)

Re: Removing Orange Mask from Colour Negative Scans
I've successfully been able to remove the orange mask using Final Cut Pro X. I use the auto color balance filter which removes the orange mask and then use the negative filter to convert the image to a positive.

Super 8 projector that uses inexpensive bulb?
Hi guys,
Anyone know of any super 8 projectors that use inexpensive bulbs as well as have a speed control? I have a bell & howell that I'm currently using for off the wall transfers but replacement bulbs for them are expensive as hell.

Compensating for 1 stop loss from filter on Canon 310xl
Hi,
So I bought a sepia filter to screw onto the lens of my canon 310XL. The filter packaging explains that there is one stop of light loss when using the filter. The canon 310xl uses a separate metering system that is not through the lens. So my question is, is there a way to trick the meter into ...

Can this post be deleted or at least have the subject line changed to the correct date? It's just plain wrong information.

Any tips for exposing Pro8mm 63 10ASA B&W
Hi,
I bought a roll of Pro8mm 10ASA high contrast black and white to shoot titles with. Does anyone have any tips on using this film to shoot titles? Should I under-expose a little from the light meter reading or anything? I'll be shooting titles with a Bauer 209XL S, which has manual exposure ...

Is an HD Super 8 transfer overkill?
I'm thinking of getting some super 8 transfered to HD and I wanted to get some opinions on whether or not you think it's worth it or if it's overkill.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Documenting Summer '10 in Kodachrome and 100D
Hey everyone. I just wanted to share my film shooting plans for the summer. I bought some kodachrome 35mm slide film and plan to shoot that along with a cart of frozen Kodachrome 40 sound film and some 100D this summer, with maybe some 500T thrown in. I plan to make a little doc out of this summer ...
